This story was intended to be a novella which I wrote when I was twenty-two. When I found I could publish easily through digital media, I quickly edited and published the work after my twenty-fifth birthday. I thought the message was clear despite the brevity.
Children without the sense of sight, smell, taste, touch, or sound live peculiar and confusing lives. Mutes live in this veil of white yet are able to communicate and drink in their environment when around other mutes. Chase Wolfe, a mute, recounts the story of his life with his friends, and family, and his bizarre struggle to be normal through his twisted ailment.

This story was intended to be a novella which I wrote when I was twenty-two. When I found I could publish easily through digital media, I quickly edited and published the work after my twenty-fifth birthday. I thought the message was clear despite the brevity.
Children without the sense of sight, smell, taste, touch, or sound live peculiar and confusing lives. Mutes live in this veil of white yet are able to communicate and drink in their environment when around other mutes. Chase Wolfe, a mute, recounts the story of his life with his friends, and family, and his bizarre struggle to be normal through his twisted ailment.

A whole world, floating in the breeze, dirt sinking low below the continents into the thickest of fog which surrounded the world with no place to rest – it seemed almost lonely in a way, incomplete, although the inhabitants all had their pastimes and professions which kept them occupied. I was talking to a carpenter within the walls of the Epatat Kingdom where it was rumored that the princess had disappeared.
